FAQ
Pricing questions.
How much does 1 TB of cloud storage cost on Stornox?
Storage is ₹1,500 per TB per month for the first 50 TB, ₹1,400 per TB from 50 TB to 200 TB, and ₹1,250 per TB above 200 TB. On top of storage, data you upload is ₹400 per TB, and write requests beyond the 2 included each month are ₹0.50 per 1,000. GST is added on the invoice.
Why does the rate change after 50 TB and 200 TB?
Our pricing is tiered. Each rate applies only to the terabytes inside its band, so at 120 TB you pay the Tier 1 rate on the first 50 TB and the Tier 2 rate on the other 70 TB. Your blended rate goes down as you grow.
Are there charges for downloading or restoring data?
Storage, write requests and data written are covered by the calculator. If your workload involves heavy retrieval, migration help or a custom setup, we put those charges in writing in your order form before you sign. Nothing turns up on the bill that was not in the order form.
Do you bill in rupees and give a GST invoice?
Yes. You are billed in INR and receive a GST tax invoice.
Is there a lock-in period or minimum commitment?
You can start pay-as-you-go. If you can commit to a volume or a longer term, ask sales for a quote, because committed pricing is usually better than list.
How do I compare this with my current storage bill?
Take last month's bill and note three numbers: TB stored, TB uploaded and the number of write requests. Put them into the cost calculator. If you want help reading your current bill, book a call and we will go through it with you.
